How to Apply to UAI

ADMISSIONS CRITERIA 

UAI accepts applications for admission into our 6th, 9th and 10th grade cohorts via the NYC DOE MySchools application.

 
Per NYC DOE guidelines, the application process is NOT first come, first serve, but the order in which you place UAI on your application DOES MATTER. The higher you rank UAI on your list of 12 schools, the more likely your child is to receive an offer to attend our school.

PRIORITY GROUPS
  1. Priority to applicants whose sibling(s) will be enrolled in this school next year
  2. Priority to District 13, 14, 15, and 16 students and residents
  3. Then to Brooklyn students and residents
