Artist and Social Worker Shanell Kit joined UAI students, staff and families to discuss the importance of self-care and personal reflection. As a visual artist, Ms. Kit uses art as a form of self-expression and stress management. She shared pieces of her own work with the UAI community and encouraged guests to explore their own creative outlets as a form of self-care.

Elevate helps students develop proven and effective study habits. Students are often expected to know “how to study”, but rarely are they able to develop best practice study skills on their own. Elevate’s mix of high impact student, faculty and parent workshops help schools create an environment of best practice, leading to lasting behavioral change for students.
